Showcase#

The principles behind the Consensus Society are not new. Throughout history and across cultures, people have organized themselves around equality, mutual aid, shared decision-making, and voluntary participation — sometimes for centuries, sometimes in small experiments that lasted only a generation.

This section exists to honor that history and to look forward.

Inspirations#

These are communities, movements, and organizations — past and present — that embody some of the principles at the heart of this framework. None of them are the Consensus Society. Each has its own history, its own commitments, its own ways of falling short. We present them here not as endorsements or models to copy, but as evidence that these ideas work in practice, and as honest examinations of what happens when they do.

Consensus Societies#

This section is waiting to be filled.

When communities begin to organize around this framework, their stories will be told here — in their own words, on their own terms. We look forward to that day.
